I did not enjoy the smell of garbage . I did not enjoy the loud music from the Spinnaker next door. I did not enjoy being charged an extra 50 dollars for checking out 30 minutes late at 10:30. I did not enjoy staff.I did not enjoy the dirty ashtrays at entrance to elevators. NASTY!
The only thing I liked about the condominiums werecthat it was on the beach!!!!!!!! Other than that, I will never recommend this spot to anyone!!!!!
Roaches where my children slept; not able to exchange any linens over the weekend; displeasing smell in the room; uncleanness of the entire room; moistness of entire room; old condo with much needed upgrades; no DVD player in bedroom; old furniture;
This is our second trip to the Summit. We love the resort because it has everything you need here. It is family-friendly, excellent security, close to many attractions and restaurants, has large pool area, access to beach area w/ air compressor to blow up floats...everything was well thought out for this resort. We will be returning for our family vacation.
The security staff was great. Very helpful and friendly. Location was good.
The front staff was not helpful or as friendly as security people. Ask for help with door because could not open. But never heard from maintenance and had to struggle with door for about 2 to 3 minutes before we could get in. Very stressful not knowing if we were going to be able to get in.
The view of ocean the pool was nice make sure u get gound level rooms
The room smelled like cigarette smoke. The elevator slow and half the time it didnt work. When we checked in they charged an additional $97.00 house keeping fee, we did not know in advance. Employees not very friendly. Up keep of outside of building needs repair.
Pool and tiki bar
The elevators were extremely slow and some were out of service on more than one occasion during our stay. We waited a half hour for one when we checked out and finally gave up and had to make three trips up and down the stairs carrying all of our luggage!
30 mins to check-in; scheduled unit had mold and mildew per staff. Was finally placed into another unit, but was told had to move the last night because it was booked for another guess; argued that this is inconvenience to paying guest and they need to reconsider; manager agreed and unit assigned for duration of stay. Security issue on last day. Unit was assigned to another guess while we were still in the unit...then further had housekeeping unlocked unit and left it open while we were on the beach. Thank goodness nothing was stolen. Will not stay at this establishment again nor suggest it to any paying guests!
The views from the balcony each morning were breathtaking.
We rented our condo from an owner and found that one of the bathrooms needed repair and the carpets needed cleaning. Other than that, there were no complaints.
After driving six hours when I arrived to check in with a truck full of grocerys I had to pay $100 registratrion and cleaning fee just to get my condo not happy!!!!!be careful with these people!!!!
access to beach
bath room needs attention in room
The view of the ocean
To much drinking and partying and people were just to lazy to pick up their trash every morning the beach was covered with trash from all the partying from the day before I never plan to stay at the summit again
The location of being right on the beach
It was not clean as it should have been; there was hair left in the bathtub which we had to get out ourselves
Definately not a place for couples. Bars and food was great and the pool area was kept clean. Great for families with kids of all ages.
Rooms need major uPdating. Walls cracking etc
I liked where it was located because of the access to the beach. It had 2 pools so it was not over crowded. The Summit was a clean place to stay.
I did not like that the Summit website did not mention a refundable (if left in good condition) $200 deposit and didn't mention the $90 clean up fee which was $96.00 with tax. I hated that we had to wear bracelets for the whole stay and if you lost the bracelet you had to pay $10.00. Other places around us did not make their guest wear bracelets. The thing that I really hated, if there were 4 people staying in the room that is all the wash rags you got. To get extra you had to turn in the used rags or towels and they would exchange them for the exact number, you could not get extra. The worst part of that, you could only exchange them between 9am to 11am only. Hello, most people are on vacation their not in the room between 9 and 11. So if we took a shower at night, we couldn't get a rag till 9am. When you first arrive there, you have to fill out a survey sheet and tell if anything was broken or holes in wall so you wouldn't be charged the $200 deposit. My opinion they should inspect the room after each renter and keep a record. After driving 10 hours or more, the last thing you want to do is inspect the room from ceiling to floor and maybe get charged for something you didn't do. Not a good set up at all.
I like the location of it and easy to get to the beach and well security ji
